How to use Toronto’s PATH: maps, entrances and weekend hours

A practical way to navigate downtown’s indoor walkways without relying on a shop that may have moved.

Use the official Toronto PATH map to choose your destination building, then follow signs for the next connected building rather than trying to walk in a straight line underground. The Financial District BIA publishes full, simplified and regional maps. Save the current version before leaving so you can consult it at a junction.

For a first trip, choose one short connection and keep the destination’s street address handy. PATH is useful for moving around downtown in poor weather, but a long indoor route can be harder to follow than a short walk outside. This guide explains which map to use, how to recover when you lose your bearings and why opening hours need a more specific answer than “the PATH is open.”
