Evergreen Brick Works without a car: shuttle, TTC and walking options

Choose the way into the valley and the way home before deciding how much market shopping or trail walking to fit in between.

You do not need a car to visit Evergreen Brick Works. The two straightforward connections are the free Evergreen shuttle from Broadview and the TTC’s 28 Bayview South bus from Davisville. Walking through the ravines is another option when the route and conditions suit you, but it makes the journey part of the outing rather than a substitute for a bus ride.

The useful choice is not simply which route looks shortest on a map. Consider your subway connection, mobility needs, the groceries you might carry back and how late you intend to leave. This guide separates transport from the different things people call a “Brick Works visit,” so a market morning does not accidentally turn into an unplanned uphill walk home.
